Comprising more than 10 percent of the school’s operating budget ALL gifts count, and gifts at all levels have an impact on students and faculty. Gifts to the Annual Fund support tuition aid, faculty salaries, academic programming, student activities, fine and practical arts, athletics and more!
During the month of February ...
More than 65 Burroughs alums will make calls and send text messages to classmates for a gift the Burroughs Annual Fund. The goal is to increase participation with at least 200 new gifts to the Annual Fund. Every year, the Burroughs Annual Fund is an essential source of revenue for JBS. That is especially true this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Gifts to the 2020-2021 Annual Fund ensure that revenue lost due to the pandemic does not compromise our programming, faculty or staff salaries, professional development, tuition assistance for incoming families and the quality, maintenance and safety of our buildings and grounds.

Why are donations necessary?
The Annual Fund is a source of unrestricted funding that helps Burroughs meet the expected and the unexpected. This year, the unexpected includes the needs of families hit hard by the economic consequences of the pandemic, and a programmatic pivot to hybrid learninge are hopeful that you will consider making a gift to the Annual Fund 2020-2021 to support our talented faculty and resilient families during this unprecedented school year.
